Lanson Jones
GIS Department Manager
Lanson Jones is Transglobal’s GIS Department Manager. His 10 years of experience in the field includes survey design, GIS and geospatial satellite imagery intelligence for the US Army. Lanson began his survey career as a GIS Data Tech before transitioning into the field survey operations side of the business. He takes pride in developing his team and demonstrates an out-front leadership style. In his new role, Lanson looks forward to working collaboratively with Shared Services and IT to keep Transglobal at the forefront of innovation.
In the past year, Lanson relocated to Fort Worth, Texas from Gadsden, Alabama. In his free time, Lanson enjoys reading, carpentry, hunting, fishing, and most importantly, spending time traveling with his wife Krystina.

Jacksonville State University, BS in Geography; concentration in GIS Systems
Military Science Minor with US Army Commissioning
