Larry Keith Serves as Transglobal’s Director of Renewable Energy. Larry has served in leadership and management roles for the power and energy industry for over 40 years. His experience includes energy facility site selection, transmission line routing, public involvement planning, and obtaining land use/zoning and other state and federal regulatory approvals for a variety of utility facilities, including transmission lines, and conventional and renewable energy generation. His experience within the energy industry and with law firms has provided him with the insight necessary to address strategic issues and keep projects moving forward. He has directed the preparation of EISs, EAs, ERs, and categorical exclusions to meet the compliance requirements of local, state, and federal agencies. He has prepared regulatory applications and obtained approvals for hundreds of energy facilities, including electric generation, transmission lines, and substations. Mr. Keith has prepared interconnection requests and assisted renewable energy clients to help identify potential sites and partnering opportunities. He has specific expertise involving environmental documentation, public communications, and developing strategies to address sensitive issues associated with energy facilities.

During his career, he has developed and managed a focused energy practice group consisting of multidisciplinary resource specialists providing siting/routing, public involvement planning and implementation, environmental impact assessment, 3D visual simulations, regulatory review, and preparation of permit applications for a variety of generation, renewable, transmission line, substation, and pipeline facilities.

As Director of Renewable Energy at Transglobal, Larry has been instrumental in developing and managing our front-end services for solar and wind energy developments. These services include GIS mapping to identify opportunities and constraints for site selection, environmental studies and reports, coordinating grid assessments for interconnection with the local grid, critical issues analysis, surveying, acquisition of land rights, and permitting.
